Class 5's Adventure to Thorpe Woodlands

Today, together with Class 6, we spent the day at Thorpe Woodlands, organised for us by Mr Edmonds (thank you!). We had a great time working as a team to solve problems and take part in adventurous activities which would not have been possible to experience at school. We also spent part of the day looking closely at the local habitat, information from which we will be using in Geography and Science this half term.
Here is a snapshot of a few of the activities we enjoyed!
Ready to go!
Discussing the plan of action to attempt the Mohawk Walk.

"How are we going to get us all to the other side of the 'Spider's Web'?"
Everyone made it to the other side without touching the web!

Huge sense of achievement completing the Platform Swing.

Teamwork, concentration and patience were needed to complete the Chenobyl Challenge.

We had a great day and look forward to experiencing more that Thorpe Woodlands has to offer in the future.
